The Championship of women's soccer of
Rio Janeiro was officially initiated last Sunday, March 28th at Maracanã.
It was won by Vasco da Gama despite them having tied with Botafogo. Pretinha
played a major part in their victory. The exciting technical performance
of the teams at the tournament was at a level not seen before.
