Spirit
invites fans to "select –a –seat" at Torrero
Stadium on Tuesday, October 22nd.
San
Diego Spirit is inviting all soccer fans, those renewing season
tickets or looking to purchase, to come to Torero Stadium on Tuesday,
October 22, 4:30-6:30 p.m. for the club's first "Select-a-Seat"
event. Fans will have their best chance to secure season tickets
in the most-desired locations for the Spirit's 2003 season, by actually
sitting in the seats to get a feel for watching exciting Spirit
soccer. Spirit players and San D. Panda will be in attendance to
help with the festivities, which includes music, light refreshments
and door prizes.
Spirit
representatives will be available to help fans with the process
of selecting their seats for the third season of WUSA action.
2003
season ticket holders receive a new perk in addition to the standard
benefits. The club will guarantee that the team will qualify for
the playoffs, if not, then all fans that purchased season tickets
for the upcoming season, will be able to renew 2004 season tickets
at 2001 prices. The "Win/Win Guarantee" is first of its
kind in WUSA.
The
team is offering a special bonus for current 2003 season ticket
holders. If they refer individuals to purchase a new season ticket
account, they will be able to attend an exclusive preseason clinic
conducted by Spirit players at Torero Stadium.
