For the second consecutive week Tiffeny
Milbrett of the New York Power is the WUSA Player of the Week.
Milbrett recorded
the first hat-trick in WUSA history by notching three goals in a
3 1 win over the Boston Breakers on June 22. The hat-trick also
made Milbrett the first player to record three multi-goal games.
Milbrett tallied in the 45th, 75th and 88th minutes as the Power
erased a 1-0 deficit. Milbrett continues to lead the league in goals
with 10 and points with 22. She has scored the last seven Power
goals. Milbrett is the second player to be named WUSA Player of
the Week for consecutive weeks.
