York Power to host first match of 2002 Nike U.S.Cup
New
York Power will host the U.S. National Team match against Russia
in the
first Game of the 2002 Nike U.S. Women’s Cup to be held at
Mitchel
Athletic Complex in Uniondale, New York
Tickets
for the tournament opener, which is presented by
Philips Electronics, range in price levels from $22 to
$55 and are available starting tomorrow (August 23) at
12 noon ET. Information on group tickets can be obtained
by calling the Power at 1-866-POWR-TIX (1-866-769-7849).
Individual tickets are also available
at all Ticketmaster outlets throughout the area
(including The Wiz, Compact Disc World, Tower Records,
HMV Record Stores and Filene’s) or by calling 516-888-9000
(Long Island) or 212-307-7171 (New York City).

New
York Power season ticket holders who place a $50 non-refundable
deposit per seat on their 2003 New York Power
season tickets will be invited to a private and exclusive
U.S. Women’s National Team training session on
Saturday, September 28, followed by a clinic held with
select members of the New York Power.
