New York
Power assist NY Islanders and U.S. Marine Corps with Toys for
Tots
The
New York Power in collaboration with the NHL’s NY Islanders
and the U.S. Marine Corps will assist in the collection of toys
for their annual Toys for Tots drive. The drive will take place
when the Islanders host the Ottawa Senators on December 11, Florida
Panthers December 15 and Edmonton Oilers December 18.
Jen
Lalor will be helping out the
first night of the drive on December 11 while Kristy Whelchel
and Sara Whalen will be collecting on the third night of the drive,
December 18. The players will be with Marines at collection points
set up on the concourse prior to the start of the games. All fans
attending are urged to bring new unwrapped toys to donate to Toys
for Tots and help make the holidays a little brighter for those
less fortunate.
