Game

A hard fought match with both world class goalkeepers making it difficult for strikers. The game was broken open in the second half by Katia’s brilliant, unstoppable goal on the run from outside the box. New York’s final chance for the playoffs hinges on their away match against Washington which will not be played in RFK Stadium because of a scheduling conflict.

This was again one of the most exciting and well played games seen in the WUSA league.
