New York trades away first WUSA draft pick in 2003 to San Diego

New York Power gave up midfielder Jen Lalor, Wynne McIntosh and the rights to the first overall pick in the 2003 WUSA Draft, in exchange for defender Margaret Tietjen, and midfielders Shannon Boxx and Sherrill Kester, and the second overall draft pick in the draft.
