Game

The Power midfield and defense looked unorganised throughout the half, as players would run into each other when trying to tackle opposing players. Without Whalen's speed coupled with Aarones lack of mobility, and unimaginative kicks from Espeseth that were always directed to a static Aarones the Power's attack was easily handled by the Breakers.

Hucles speed and finish put Boston ahead in the first half hour stood up until Milbrett carefully headed in a heading mistake by Sobrero to even the half.

In the second half a more energised Power came out with less bunching and using more width. After a brief burst by the Breakers for a ten minute spell, Milbrett took control of the game. Her consistent drive and speed took her past the tiring Boston defense to complete the first hat-trick in WUSA history.
