WUSA's
New York Power Team appoints Susan Marenoff as General Manager
Marenoff worked
for the 1999 Women's World Cup Organizing Committee, serving as
the New York/New Jersey Venue Director for the 1999 FIFA Women's
World Cup soccer tournament. Marenoff currently serves on the board
of WISE - Women in Sports and Events, on the Women's Sports Foundation's
National Advisory Board, and is a member of the Foundation's Travel
and Training Judging Committee, serving to promote the continuing
emergence of women in sports.
Marenoff becomes the fourth women to be named as general manager
in WUSA out of their eight teams, with one position still open (Carolina
Tempest).
