Hamm
has been selected as WUSA Player of the Week for the week ending
August 5, 2002. She finished the week with three goals and three
assists in two Freedom victories to help Washington secure its first
WUSA playoff berth.
This
is her first player of the week award in 2002. She captured the
weekly honor twice in 2001.
