Jim Gabarra named a
Head Coach of the Washington D.C. WUSA Team
Jim Gabarra
a former member of the U.S. National team, and currently a volunteer
assistant at the United States Naval Academy where his wife coaches,has
been appointed as Head Coach of the Washington D.C. WUSA Team. He
was also the head coach of the World All Stars during the 1999 Toys
"R" Us United States Women's National Team Indoor Victory Tour last
year.
"We're thrilled
to have someone with the varied coaching and playing background
of Jim Gabarra as our first head coach," said Katy Button, General
Manager of the WUSA- Washington D.C. team.
