The Freedom back at RFK Stadium this Thursday, July 26th at 7pm when they take on the Philadelphia Charge

The Freedom are offering an Adopt-A-Team Lottery. Soccer teams from around the D.C. area can register at the Freedom Web site to have a Freedom player coach two practices and a game during the Fall 2001 season. Forty-six teams (two per player) will be selected. Entries are due by August 6th, and the drawing will take place at the Freedom game vs. the New York Power on August 11th at 12pm @ the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.

The Freedom will be busy around the community this week. On Friday Justi Baumgardt and Krista Davey will be speaking and signing autographs for teens from around the country at the Co/Motion Youth Action Institute 2001, a workshop on youth-led activism. Saturday is Sports Fest 2001 for Frederick County, VA, and Keri Sarver will be participating in the fun and signing autographs.
