WASHINGTON FREEDOM AND D.C. UNITED HOST SUPER SATURDAY OF SOCCER ON JUNE 30

Excitement is building for the second and final WUSA-MLS doubleheader of the 2001 season at RFK Stadium on Saturday, June 30. Mia Hamm and the Washington Freedom kick off the action at 5 p.m., with D.C. United meeting the Colorado Rapids at 7:30 p.m. in the nightcap. Although the Freedom managed a 2-2 draw with Boston and D.C. United fell 3-2 to San Jose in the first doubleheader on May 12, both teams are determined to send Washington fans home with a clean sweep on June 30.
While the first WUSA-MLS doubleheader drew 36,528 to RFK Stadium, both teams are hoping to crack 40,000 in their second joint effort. To help the Freedom and United achieve this goal, the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association (MSYSA) is now selling discount tickets to the doubleheader at prices no one can beat:

Spectator $12 ($15 Retail)
Premium $16 ($20 Retail)
VIP $20 ($26 Retail)
Mezzanine $28 ($36 Retail)

Each ticket includes admission to both games. To reserve your seats for this Super Saturday of Soccer, dial the MSYSA ticket hotline at (410) 729-2754 or call toll free at 1-888-947-KICK. To order tickets on-line, visit .
