Once again Atlanta had many scoring chances but were unable to finish, due partly to a good goalkeeping performance by Smolak but mainly to over eagerness in front of goal. Foudy was unmarked as she ran onto a headed pass by Macmillan and did not fail to take the opportunity presented to stymie the Beatšs bid for a play-off spot in this match. They have one more chance left.
