Fotopoulos is WUSA MET-Rx Player of the Week
She scored
twice and added three assists in Carolinas's 5-2 win over Washington
on Saturday at RFK Stadium.
Fotopoulos
is tied for second all-time in WUSA scoring with 67 points (23
goals, 21 assists). She is one of two players to register 20
or more goals and 20 or more assists (joining Boston's Maren
Meinert) during her WUSA career.
It is the
seventh consecutive week that a forward has won MET-Rx Player
of the Week honors.
