WUSA
Teams chose two foreign players each in first foreign player draft
WUSA conducted
its first-ever Foreign Player Allocation Draft today and Norway's
Hege Riise and Bente Nordby were the first two chosen by Orlando.
Overall, 16 of the top international players in the world were selected.
The 16 were divided into eight pairs and each team received one
selection. The draft was conducted by conference call.
Orlando was
awarded the first pick in the draft based on players already chosen
