Game

As the season progresses so does the level of play in WUSA. Today's game was an excellent example as the Freedom showed why they are threatening to be the top team in the league with exquisite attacking play by Hamm, Bai and Prethina in the first half. A courageous come back performance by Carolina in the second half including a too brief period of dominating play by Riise gained them their first point of the season.

If the Courage could sustain the concentration shown in parts of the second half for the full ninety minutes they surely will climb quickly in the league table.
