The game was iced for Carolina 25 minutes from the end when Fotopoulos knocked a defender’s deflection in from 15 yards. The Spirit's 100,000th fan will pass through the gates before the game. To celebrate the occasion the fan will receive a pair of lifetime season tickets and a prize package worth over $1,500. In addition to the 100,000th fan celebration, the team is also hosting Photo Day beginning at 11:00 a.m. PT. Spirit fans can take pictures with their favorite players for 30 minutes on the Torero Stadium field. Plus, the first 2,000 fans will receive a free Spirit Beach Towel.
