Game Report

Alexa Borisjuk put the Breakers on the scoreboard when she beat Power goalkeeper, Meredith Flaherty in the 25th minute. Nine minutes later, in the 34 minute, the lead grew to 2-0 when Flaherty misplayed a ball from Christie Pearce that led to an own goal.

In the second half, the Power got on the board when Tammy Pearman scored off a rebound from Emily Janss' shot that was saved by Karina LeBlanc. The Power pressured the Boston defense the rest of the second half, but were not able to score the tying goal.
