Game Report:

Three minutes into the game Hucles fired a shot that slipped under Pagliarulo at the right post and bounced into the net. Nine minutes later Mellgren tapped a rolling ball into an open net. Seven minutes into the second half Mellgren ran past the defense to make it three. Two minutes later Spirit pulled it back a goal with a typical MacMillan blast, and Foudy’s header added another eleven minutes from time but San diego could not close the gap in the ten minutes left in the game.
