New York Power adds Heather Beem from Clemson as Developmental Player

Heather Beem, a native of Vancouver, and midfielder/forward from Clemson University was the fourth round draft pick of the Power in the 2003 WUSA Draft and 25th selection overall. She returns to the Power after completing her college requirements at Clemson University. She appeared for 10 games with the Memphis Mercury of the W-League, collecting 2 assists.

Goalkeeper Meghan Frey has been released by the Power. She had joined the team as a tryout player for the 2003 season, but did not appear in a game for the Power.
