Game

Atlanta took an early lead with Parlow 's superbly taken goal in the first two minutes, and looked in control for most of the match. Parlow and Sawa were oustanding and with the hardworking Hooper up front kept the Charge in a state of disarray. An overworked Fair tried hard to push and direct her team but they were unable to equal her skill and intensity.
