Portland,
Oregon to host the 2002 WUSA All-Star Game
WUSA
and Portland Family Entertainment will host the 2002 WUSA All-Star
Game on Saturday,September
21 at 4:00 p.m. 1:00 p.m. PT. At PGE Park. PGE
Park is owned by the City of Portland, and has a soccer capacity
of almost 20,000. It is located in downtown Portland.
The
game will feature the North All-Stars vs. the South All-Stars. The
best players from the Boston Breakers, New York Power, Philadelphia
Charge and San Jose CyberRays will represent the North, and the
best from the Atlanta Beat, Carolina Courage, San Diego Spirit and
Washington Freedom will make up the South team.

All-Star Game tickets go on sale Monday, August 5 at 9 a.m. PT.
Soccerfans
can purchase tickets at PGE Park and all Portland-area Ticketmaster
outlets,
including select Fred Meyer and G.I. Joe's locations. Tickets are
also
available by calling Ticketmaster at (503) 224-4400 or by going
on-line
at www.ticketmaster.com. Individual tickets to the WUSA All-Star
Game will
be priced from $15-$45. In addition, a special $4.75 ticket will
be made
available for a limited time only in the Fred Meyer Family Seat
Section.
