Last week, ESPN announced its nominees for the 2001 ESPY Awards, with U.S. Women's National Team stars Mia Hamm and Tiffeny Milbrett named as finalists for the Soccer Player of the Year award. . The ESPYs -- Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly -- are awarded in 34 categories. The award-winners will be announced on Febraury 12, 9 p.m. ET on ESPN.
