Lorrie Fair's jersey number #14 retired by the University of North Carolina on January 24, 2001

She was honored for her play with the 2000 Silver Medal U.S. Olympic Team, and for winning the 1999-2000 Honda Soccer Award and North Carolina's 2000 Patterson Medal (outstanding women's senior student-athlete).
