USA Soccer Mom of the Year

Diane Barbera of 865 Revere Rd, Lafayette, California 925-283-4734 was named the USA soccer Mom of the year on Sat. Aug 24th during the half time of the WUSA Founder's Cup in Atlanta. She is the mother of four soccer playing daughters. Diane is also a student at St. Mary's College in Moraga, California where her daughter Jenny plays on the soccer team. Diane was nominated along with 1,600 other soccer loving mothers and was one of four finalists flown to Atlanta. She was selected by the mothers of current women soccer player and received a suite of appliances from Maytag and a Hyundai SUV.
