Mirta Brito De La Cuesta is first woman to coach a Costa Rica men’s team

The Federación Costarricense de Fútbol has named Mirta Brito De La Cuesta to be the first woman to coach a men's squad in Costa Rican history. She will be the head coach of the Men’s Beach Soccer Team.

Mrs. De La Cuesta will lead Costa Rica in the inaugural CONCACAF Qualifying Tournrament next year where two teams will progress to the 2006 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup scheduled to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
