February 6, 2002 Michelle Akers All-Star Fantasy Camp offers ten free places Soccer Outreach International announces that the first ten Campers who register in the month of February will be allowed to bring a daughter or son, age 12 or older, with them to work with the All-Star Fantasy Camp's official staff at the Oasis Resort & Spa in Gulfport, Mississippi, September 6-9, 2002. They will receive official staff uniforms and the opportunity to help Michelle's Camp staff throughout the weekend. This incentive is open to Campers who register for both the Pro level and the All-Star level packages. Specific to the premium level package, Campers who register between now and March 1, will receive an invitation for two to play in the 2nd Annual Michelle Akers Golf Invitational in Orlando, Fla., Saturday, April 20. Campers will receive hotel and transportation for two days surrounding the event, a VIP gift bag, cart and greens fees at the beautiful Celebration Golf Club and a banquet dinner following the Invitational. Akers, FIFA's Player of the Century and a two-time World Champion, created the concept for the All-Star Fantasy Camp and invited four very talented guests to serve as Camp Counselors: Julie Foudy, Brandi Chastain, Tiffeny Milbrett and former US National coach and now WUSA Commissioner, Tony DiCicco. Due to the anticipated high demand for the limited number of camp openings - just 100 - each camp position will be auctioned individually at www.eBay.com and each will go to the highest bidder. Proceeds from the auctions for the Akers All-Star Fantasy Camp and from the Michelle Akers Golf Invitational will support Soccer Outreach International, a non-profit youth leadership program that Akers founded in 1997.
