California Storm weekend wins

On Saturday in the first game played on the new Santa Clara Youth Soccer Complex field, Storm beat Santa Clara University 2-0 on goals by Stacie Alberico and Laura Schott.

On Sunday they played California Berkeley in Stockton at the University of Pacific Stadium as part of the Pacific Spring Showcase opening, and won 2-1 with goals by Christina Bell and Stacie Alberico.

In the second game the Storm won 3-0 against San Jose State with goals by Kim Yokers, Koleen Anderson and Casey Henoch.

In the Championship game against UC Davis the goals came in the last 15 minutes of the game, and were scored by Stacie Alberico, Christina Bell and Kortney Lewis to capture the win for Storm.

On April 10th at UC Davis the Storm will play a preseason doubleheader starting with a game against CSU, Chico at 12:30 p.m., followed by a rematch against UC Davis at 3:00 p.m.

Admission to this event is $5 general, $2 seniors and kids, and $1 for kids that wear a soccer jersey.
