The win takes San Diego into a tie for first place.

It was the first league goal for Aurora Quiroz a Mexico U-17 National Team player. That and her assist in the opening goal resulted in her being named as the San Diego Offensive MVP. The Defensive MVP was Noelle Jouglet.

Isabelle Harvey scored both Ajax goals in the first half. Goals by Christy Callier and Michelle Wagner had tied the game for San Diego, and the goal by Quiroz eight minutes from the end secured the win.
