California Storm wins Presidents Day Silver Mug Invitational in Las Vegas

California Storm played 8 games in 3 days beating teams from Montana, San Diego, Seattle, Silicon Valley, Washington State, Colorado, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, and capturing the Championship late Monday afternoon. It was the Storm's eighth title in this tournament.

Sissi led the Storm in scoring with seven goals, and was named as tournament MVP. Their defense led by Maureen Whitney, Megan McAlpin, Christina Bell, Betsy Barr, and Lorrie Fair held the opposition to 3 goals in 8 games.
