New WPSL Team Mass Aztec sign their first players

Mass Aztec signed seven players for their inaugural year in the league.

Kristin McDonald a former captain at University of Indiana at Purdue.

Christy McHugh a former All-New England player from Wheaton College in Massachucetts.

Tracey Prihoda a former All-American from Wheaton College in Massachusetts.

Ashley Mattison a former All Ivy league player from Harvard University. and 3 players

Caitlin Leary currently playing at University of Massachusetts-Lowel

“This is a big step for women’s soccer here on the North Shore and Northeastern Massachusetts.” Said Aztec Soccer President Mike Kersker. “We are very excited about bringing this caliber of soccer to the youth in the area. These women are great role models.”

Aztec Soccer is now a full scale club soccer organization with the recent addition of this WPSL Mass Aztec team. Advanced training for ages Under-6 to Under-10, fifteen youth teams ranging from ages U-11 through U-18, plus a men’s and women’s amateur team are now in place .
