February 24, 2004 WPSL adds FC Indiana as a provisional team this season FC Indiana will begin playing as a provisional team in the spring of 2004, and as a full member in 2005. FC Indiana is a soccer club located in Goshen, Indiana.The club was founded in 2000 to scout, recruit and train the top soccer talent in Indiana. In addition to operating its adult and youth soccer teams, FC Indiana administers soccer camps and soccer tournaments to develop the state's premiersoccer players. FC Indiana Director of Coaching Shek Borkowski is quoted as saying, "with this acceptance we are beginning phase II of our club's development. As of now we are positioned to provide an environment where young talented women can grow and improve alongside quality college and international players."
The Season runs from May 1st to August 1st and most of the games will be played on Friday & Saturday evenings. All home games will be played at Goshen Soccer Park in Goshen, Indiana and at Indiana Invaders Complex in South Bend, Indiana. WPSL teams play 14-18 games duringthe season. The FC Indiana has begun actively recruiting players who grew up locally or are currently playing at one of our colleges. The team will have a roster of 26 players with an additional 8-10 reserve players. The reserve roster will train with the team, and will compete in the United States Amateur National Cup Tournament.
