Excellent
choice -Pia Sundhage is new Head Coach of U.S.Women’s National Team
She starts her job of preparing
the National Team towards CONCACAF
qualifying for the 2008 China Olympics today.
She was the Assistant Coaching of the Philadelphia Charge in the first
two years of WUSA, and was the Head Coach of the Boston Charge that finished
top of the league the following year.More recently she assisted a struggling
China Team at the 2007 FIFA World Cup, and it was impressive to see the
improvement in their play and attitude over such a short period of time
with them.
