U.S. National Team to play South Korea in Salt Lake City

They will play South Korea on Saturday, June 14th. in Salt Lake City, Utah at Rice-Eccles Stadium on the campus of the University of Utah. It will start at 7 p.m. MT / 9 p.m. ET and be seen live on ESPN2.

Tickets from $16 to $37 go on sale starting Friday, February 14, at 10:00 a.m. MT through Ticketmaster.com, by phone at 801-325-SEAT (7328), and at all Ticketmaster outlets (including Fred Meyer and Graywhale CD Exchange). Groups of 20 or more can order through U.S. Soccer at 312-528-1290.

This will be the first-ever match played by the USA in Utah. Rice-Eccles Stadium seats over 45,000, and overlooks downtown Salt Lake City and the Great Salt Lake. At an elevation of 4,657 feet, it was host to Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. The stadium has a new synthetic grass surface and sits in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains after a renovation completed in September of 1998.
