U.S. National Team prepares for China tournament

National Team Head Coach April Heinrichs will hold a twelve day training camp for twenty seven players at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California beginning January 12, 2004.

She will chose a twenty player roster from the pool for the trip to China to participate in the Annual Four Nation Tournamen at Shenzhen, China. The USA will open the event on January 30, 2004 against Sweden. They play China on February 1st. and Canada on February 3rd.

After the trip they will take part in the CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Costa Rica from February 25-March 7, 2004, and then go to Portugal for the Algarve Cup in mid-March.
