Shannon MacMillan hangs up her 1993-2005 international boots

Macmillan who won acclaim and the MAC and Hermann Awards, while attending the University of Portland, went on to join the legendary group of players who set the standard for the women’s game worldwide. With a Gold Medal in the 1996 Olympic Games, a Gold Medal in the FIFA 1999 World Cup, a Silver Medal in the 2000 Olympic games, a Bronze Medal at the FIFA 2003 World Cup, and 60 international goals she was always a major contributor in the international arena.
