Brandi Chastain has two stress fractures in her right foot

National Team defender Brandi Chastain has been diagnosed with two stress fractures in her right foot. Chastain suffered fractures to the third metatarsal and navicular bones. She faces 8-12 weeks of rest and recovery, along with non-impact fitness and bone stimulation therapy.

Chastain has been fitted with a walking boot and will be on crutches for an undetermined period of time.
