This is a very difficult tournament to win games consistently. You play four games in seven days with very little rest. Sometimes you win attractively with nice goals and possession like we did against France and sometimes you have to win by gutting out fifty-fifty balls and playing a little more direct with the wind. Abby and Mia's chemistry is outstanding. You want to have two forwards who work together, are connected defensively, run off each other and have a sixth sense of where the one is going to be. We like them to carry the load of scoring goals, but at the same time we want to create a team that isn't heavily dependent on one or two players. We want goals to come from our style of play and the opportunities we create. Whoever is on the end of them is just something we celebrate.

When you are the USA there are expectations, there's pressure to win and there's criticism if you don't. But as the head coach of this team, I have to make the decision to give young players and opportunity to play. They need to be confident and the only way for them to have confidence is to go out and play Denmark and find ways to beat the good teams from around the world.
