Match
The attacking power and speed of the U.S. players was eventually too much for the defensive minded Norwegian team.

Kristin Lilly
With a goal and assist, Lilly not only helped the USA to their sixth straight win over Norway but she tied Michelle Akers for second place on the U.S. International scoring list with 105 goals.

Post game comment by Head Coach Greg Ryan
Kristine Lilly’s performance in her 300th game was tremendous, with a goal and a beautiful assist on the corner kick. She is still such a special player and the most special thing about Kristine is that every game she comes to play with her whole heart. She gives us everything, now for the 300th time.

Abby Wambach
With her goal in her 64th.match she became the eighth U.S. player to score 50 or more goals.
