Canadian clubs sweep statistical awards in first set of 2001 W-1 Season AwardsW-1 Awards announced today for the statistical champions and the All-League Team Point and Goal scoring ChampionTina Blaskovic Toronto Inferno 33 points 15 goal Tina Blaskovic has been the club's leading scoring each season of Toronto Inferno's three-year history and has steadily moved up the league rankings in scoring each year. She claimed the top spot in points and goals this season after finishing eighth in 1999. Assist LeaderRobyn Brady Toronto Inferno 8 assist A trio of Inferno players finished as the top three in the league in assists in 2001. Edging out teammates Maggie Mason (seven assists) and Jane Lea (six assists) was midfielder Robyn Brady. The first-year 21-year-old is currently attending Illinois University. Goals-against Average ChampionMichelle Gademans Vancouver Breakers 0.50 GAA Vancouver's Michelle Gademans claimed the GAA title giving up four goals in eight games. The Langley College graduate recorded a 2-0 shutout against the Portland Rain in her first game on May 26.
