Our correspondent in Germany takes issue with the USIL media statement that "Tampa edged the top Germany Club Team" and WSW's edited version of it

The news that Tampa Bay Extreme beat the German top club team Frankfurt is somewhat incorrect.

The facts:

HFV Frankfurt does not exist. It is no club team. What exists is the State Assoc (FV) of Hessia (H). Frankfurt is the biggest city in state of Hesia but is not the base of HFV which is Grünberg. Indeed there are several players on that Hesia selection team Under-20, which is in Florida presently, but not as German Cup winner, but as a reward for winning the competiton 2000 of all German State Assoc Selections, ages Under-20.
