W-1 Hampton Roads Piranhas sign Memunatu Sulemana, goalkeeper for the Ghana National team

Sulemana was Ghana's starting goalkeeper for the 99 Women's World Cup and was a key to Ghana's defense, leading through the qualifying rounds for their first World Cup appearance. The 23 year old from Mamprobi Ghana is considered one of the better goalkeepers on the African continent.
She will arrive in Norfolk Va., Saturday, April 28th, and join the team for mini camp on May 4th. The Piranhas open the 2001 season at home May 12th Vs the New Jersey Lady Stallions, at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex.
