W-1 Springfield at top of Northern Conference with sixth win

The Springfield Sirens' streak of three consecutive overtime games is now over, with all three won from the boot of one person - Melissa McBean (New Britian, CT).

McBean stepped aside on this occasion as Lizie Pilicy (Beverly, MA) netted her first gamewinner of the season in the 46th minute at Keith Harris Stadium.

Springfield now stands at the top of the Northern Conference of the W-1 League with an undefeated 6-0 record.
