Hampton Roads Piranhas will host 2003 W-League National Championship

The Piranhas have been chosen to host the 2003 W-League National Championship Final Four Tournament. The tournament will take place August 8, 9, and 10 in Virginia Beach. Preliminary games will be played on August 8, at 5pm and 7:30 pm. The 3^rd place and championship matches will kick off at 2pm and 5pm Sunday, August 10. The Championship match will be carried live on Fox Sports World. All matches will be played at Landstown High School.

The Piranhas, along with the United Soccer Leagues, will host a youth soccer celebration on the beach, August 9^th. Food, music, and a special guest surprise appearance will highlight the festivities.

As host of the tournament, the Piranhas receive an automatic bid to the final four. Tickets for the tournament will be sold as a weekend pass and will be available exclusively to Piranhas season ticket holders through April 30^th at a cost of $10 each. Tickets will be available to the general public beginning May 1^st. Season tickets are priced at $29 each, or a ³Family Fun 4 Pack² is only $100.
