New Jersey signs four young players
Jen Redmond (Oak Knoll School in Summit, New Jersey). Named the NSCAA 2003 High School State Player of the Year , she will attend the University of Virginia.
Amanda Brown (Wall High School, New Jersey). She earned Big Ten All-Freshmen team honors in 2002 before leading Penn State University to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Tournament last year.
Kelly Hammond (St. Maryıs High School in Annapolis, Maryland). She was a second team NSCAA All-American in 2003 at the She led the University of Virginia in scoring last fall while earning All-ACC honors.
Manya Makoski (Trumbull High School, Connecticut). A member of the Champion U.S. National Team at the FIFA U-19 World Cup Championship in Canada in 2002, she plays for Arizona State University.
