Cincinnati Ladyhawks Katie Barnes is W-2 League Player of the Week

After scoring her second, and game winning goal in overtime to end the reigning W1 League Champion, Chicago Cobras 36-game regular season unbeaten streak.

Barnes scored her first goal in the 54th minute, which tied the game at one goal apiece. Andrea Cunningham put the Ladyhawks ahead with a goal that was assisted by Jen Davin. The Cobras tied the game with just five minutes left in regulation, but Barnes scored the game winner eight minutes into overtime off another assist from Davin. Both Barnes and Davin were named to the W-League Team of the Week.

The Ladyhawks are currently in second place in the W-2 League Central, just three points behind the Chicago Cobras.
