Cincinnati Ladyhawks begin their W-2 2001 season this weekend

The Cincinnati Ladyhawks begin their 2001 season this weekend with away games against the Windy City Bluez on Saturday, May 12, and the Chicago Cobras on Sunday, May 13.

The Ladyhawks hope to continue their success in last years inaugural season, when they finished second in the W2 League Central. Many players returned from last season including Leanna House, Christie Reinshagen, Sharon Roscoe, and W2 League All Star, Mary Beth Lengefeld. New young talent including Masonís own Katie Barnes who is currently touring with the National Under-21 Team have been added to the roster.

Next weekend they will play two matches in their 2001 home opener.

Saturday May, 19th at 7:30pm against the Cleveland Eclipse.

Sunday May, 20th against the Kentucky Fillies at 4:00pm.

Both games will be played at Galbreath Field. Tickets for these and all Ladyhawks home games are available by ordering over the phone at 772-KICK or at Galbreath Field on days of home games.
