W-2 Cincinnati Ladyhawks will kick off their 2001 home season this weekend

Cincinnati Ladyhawks begin home season with two games this weekend with games against The Cleveland Eclipse on Saturday, May 19, at 7:30pm, and The Kentucky Fillies on Sunday, May 20, at 4:00pm. These and all home games will be played at Galbreath Field.

The Ladyhawks are 1-1 after beating the Windy City Bluez, 4-1 and losing to the Chicago Cobras, 3-0 after last weekend's games. The Ladyhawks are in second place in the W-2 League Central with 5 points.

Danielle Berkemeier, and Mary Beth Lengefeld were honored this week from the United Soccer Leagues with W-League Team Of The Week honors. Berkemeier had two goals in Saturday's win over the Bluez off the bench, and this is Lengefeld's third time in two seasons to receive Team Of The Week honors.
