Meredith Flaherty signs with Hampton Roads Piranhas

Flaherty has been training in camp with the WUSA Carolina Courage, and will report to the Piranhas immediately. She was the New York Powerıs second round draft pick in 2002 after being the keeper at the University of Florida, and named the NCAA Championship Tournament Defensive MVP after leading the Gators to consecutive 1-0 shutout wins over Santa Clara and North Carolina.
